Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Paro

  • Drive to the hotel after arriving by plane at the Paro airport. After checking in, you can rest in the serene setting and peruse its sizable library or arrange a massage or another hotel-provided spa service.
  • If you want to see more of the area, you can go to the town and see Rinpung dzong, the castle where the Little Buddha movie was filmed. Reside at the five-star rated Zhiwa Ling Heritage hotel overnight.

Day 2Paro-Thimphu

  • The schedule for today is flexible and open to change. We will drive for one and a half hours to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu. Visit the Buddha Point to see the enormous statue and the beautiful view of Thimphu.
  • Witness worshippers honoring the third monarch of Bhutan at the Memorial chorten. Enjoy lunch in one of the opulent hotel restaurants before taking a stroll down Norzin Lam Street and observing the traffic cops indicating at intersections. The only capital city without traffic signals is Thimphu.
  • Finish your walk at the handicraft market, where you may find and purchase many wonderful Bhutanese mementos for a fair price.
  • Return to Paro via car and unwind. Reside at five-star rated Zhiwa Ling Heritage hotel overnight.

Day 3Paro

  • We will begin our walk to Taktsang Gomba (Tiger’s Nest) in the morning. The tour’s high point is this. The hike is quite rewarding despite appearing to be difficult. If you’re not feeling very fit, you can climb halfway to the cafeteria for a lovely perspective of the area. Even with the time spent touring the monastic temples, the round-trip journey takes 4-5 hours.
  • The highest motorable pass in Bhutan, Chele-la pass (3850m), is accessible by car if you don’t feel like climbing. The sacred Jomolhari mountain and Kanchenjunga shape are visible there in clear weather. Wander across the top prayer flag forest.
  • The free day can be spent at leisure or you can go into Paro town for amusement and shopping.
  • Reside at five-star rated Zhiwa Ling Heritage hotel overnight

Day 4Departure

Program for the morning based on flight timing. Drop off at the airport and departure from Bhutan.
